Information for Your Stay

Welcome to the Harnack House, the conference center of the Max Planck Society in Berlin. We hope you had a pleasant journey and we are delighted to welcome you to the Harnack House. For a pleasant stay, chilled water is available to you free of charge. For guests staying in the main building, we provide the water on the first floor of the main building, in the PC room, opposite the elevator. For guests of the guesthouse, the water is available in the entrance area, in the  Playroom. You can access it with your room card.

With your room card, you can open the main entrance doors of both the guest house and the Harnack House. The card readers are located on the left side of the entrance doors.

Breakfast is served in buffet form in the restaurant in the basement of the main house from Monday to Saturday from 6:30 am to 9:30 am, and on Sunday from 7:00 am to 10:00 am.

Your room is available to you until 11:00 am on the day of your departure.

You can, of course, store your luggage in our cloakroom in the basement of the main house.

On the 1st floor of the main house, you will find our business center with a PC and printer. In the guest house (opposite the main house), there is an ironing room on the ground floor.

Also in the guest house, we provide a children's playroom for the supervision of babies and children free of charge. For more information, please contact the reception.

Room cleaning during your stay is only available upon request. Please contact the reception by 9:00 pm if you would like your room cleaned the next day.

With your room phone, you can reach the reception from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm at extension 3800. After 10:00 pm, you can reach our security service at extension 3904.
